Welcome to the fourth edition of the National Diversity Council newsletter for 2020. Over the course of the fourth quarter, the National Diversity Council (NDC) hosted various virtual Women in Leadership Symposiums across the world, the Tri State Authentic Leadership Summit and the Texas Diversity Council End of Year Celebration. In addition to this, the National Diversity Council has certified 700+ DiversityFIRST™ Certified Diversity Professionals (CDP) to date.
The National Diversity Council also hosted its inaugural Asian American Pacific Islander Leadership Summit that focused on responding to bias based on the Asian-American experience;straddling two worlds as an immigrant; allyship for Asian Americans and management biases and opportunities. The event was sponsored by PWC, PSCU, AAA, National Grid, Doctors Without Borders and NJTransit.
As we look towards 2021, the National Diversity Council will continue to be an advocate and resource for the importance of diversity and inclusion in and outside of the workplace.
