How can the next generation of leaders become prepared to address diversity and inclusion challenges in their careers? The College Diversity Summit, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Diversity Council (PADC) will deal with this very issue on Saturday, October 27 in Philadelphia, PA.
College students from many local universities are expected to convene for a half day of panels, presentations, and a job fair hosted by St. Joseph’s University.
“The Council has held successful college summits in the past and we are very pleased to work with St. Joseph’s University and Aramark for this year’s event,” according to Kate Padula, PADC Coordinator.
The session topics include “What Recruiters Wish You Knew: Finding the Right Fit,” “Passion and Paycheck: Doing Social Good While in the Corporate Workspace,” and “Networking 101: Paving Your Way to Success.” The keynote presentation will be delivered by Jeanell Hughes, Vice President of Talent Management, and Chief Diversity Officer at Aramark.
Undergraduates in all fields are encouraged to attend! For student registration (free) or exhibitor and recruiter opportunities, please visit the event website here to learn more.
