We would first like to welcome our newest Gold corporate partner organization, GreenspoonMarder, to the Tri-State Diversity Council’s Board of Directors. We look forward to partnering with this firm to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts throughout the Tri-State area!

Our 2018 Diversity Best Practices Meetings comprised presenters who represented IAC Application, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, XL Catlin, and Yale Medical School. This program highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts in the workplace, including challenges and success stories within their organizations. On August 23rd, we held our annual Tri-State Diversity & Leadership Conference, and Melissa Ben-Ishay, the Founder, CEO & Chief Product Officer of Baked by Melissa, as well as Carla Moore, the VP of POS Strategy & Eduation at HBO, serve as our two keynote speakers. We would like to greatly thank DSM, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, HUB International, Greenspoon Marder, Morgan Stanley, New Jersey Resources, Proskauer, and United Airlines for sponsoring this event.

Based on feedback we have received from corporate partners, individual members, and local business and community leaders in the Tri-State region, we are incredibly excited to announce that we will launch a brand new program on October 3rd known as the Tri-State Authentic Leadership Summit. During this event, our speakers will focus on how business and community leaders can hold courageous conversations about contemporary narratives, such as Black Lives Matter, Me Too, and others. Thank you to DSM for hosting this program and making it possible.

If you would like to learn more about any of our programs or become more involved in the TSDC, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Thank you for your continued support.
