We would like to welcome you to the third edition of the 2018 Michigan Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments and look forward to our upcoming events in the year.
This past August, the council welcomed the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program for the first time to Detroit. This 5-day course prepared attendees to create and implement highly successful D&I strategies for organizational excellence and a competitive edge in today’s global marketplace. Upon completing the program and passing the final exam, every participant was recognized as a NDCCDP (National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional). Special thanks to our facilitators and venue host for helping to make our inaugural class a huge success!
Coming up on October 16, the council will be hosting a Meet and Greet in Detroit. Please come out and learn more about the Michigan Diversity Council and how you may get involved as a partner. You will have the opportunity to meet our Executive Director and Board of Directors, enjoy wonderful refreshments and an awesome presentation on the support we’re providing organizations and corporation in the space of Diversity and Inclusion
