LifeBridge Community Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire and empower our clients by linking comprehensive programs to strengthen personal capability, develop skills, and build pathways to economic self-sufficiency. The primary mission of LifeBridge Deaf Outreach and Interpreting Services is to empower Deaf and Hard of Hearing consumers. By enhancing personal capabilities and promoting self-determination, the individuals and families will become stronger.
Our Sign Language Interpreting Services is the lead provider of sign language interpreting, and our Community Services for the Deaf and Their Families provides case management, information and referrals, and independent living skills for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our Director, Elizabeth Campbell, has been at LifeBridge for 23 years, overseeing the Deaf Outreach and Interpreting Services.
For over 20 years our Sign Language Interpreting Services has been providing on site and live interpreting services for the Deaf Community in medical, legal, educational, community and corporate businesses throughout the State of Connecticut. All of our interpreters are registered with the State of Connecticut according to state statue. Our certified interpreters are available 24/7, 365 days of the year for all interpreting needs.
For over 30 years, our Deaf Outreach Service has been providing comprehensive services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals of all ages. Professional staff members are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
