On October 10, 2017, the Colorado Diversity Council hosted the 2017 Diversity Boot Camp at the University of Phoenix in Lone Tree. This event explored the changes in the prevailing theories and practices in diversity and inclusion leadership. The theme of this year’s camp was “Managing Inclusion During Difficult Times.”

“We are extremely proud of the work that is being done with our diversity boot camp series,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of National Diversity Council. “This type of event is a great way to create the dialogue necessary to improve diversity in the workplace.”

The half-day event featured Kelly Johnson, Senior Strategist and Certified Leadership Coach, discussing changes in the prevailing theories and practices in diversity, leadership, strategy and inclusion. Participants learned about both domestic and global best practices and cutting-edge initiatives.

The Colorado Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success.
