The Florida Diversity Council will be hosting the 2018 Diversity in Action Roundtables in Orlando on January 19, 2018; in South Florida on January 26, 2018; in Jacksonville on February 7, 2018; and in Clearwater on February 8, 2018. These events touch on issues of adversity related to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual/gender orientation, and gender, as well as discussing how to become an ally.

The Diversity in Action Roundtables are a wonderful opportunity for attendees to learn from diverse business leaders as they share their personal stories and experiences that relate to facing adversity. This unique event is structured such that each leader has her or his own table that attendees will rotate to throughout the event. During these roundtable discussions, participants will have an opportunity to engage in open discussion and share their personal thoughts, insights, and experiences, as well learning from those shared by others. The Diversity in Action Roundtables aim to not only create awareness about the impact a non-inclusive environment can have on individuals, but also some of the ways in which organizations and individuals can work together to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and community.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the Diversity in Action Roundtables!
