This symposium is considered to have been successful in promoting gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The focus of the event was to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status. Symposium attendees heard talks about topics such as “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women,”“Pioneering Pay Equity: Strategies to Bridge the Gap, Own Your Value and Negotiate Your Worth,” and “Leading with Authenticity: Strategies for Success with Your Own Leadership Style.”
The Carolinas Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this year’s Women in Leadership Symposium a success.
