We would like to welcome you to the fourth edition of the 2017 Louisiana Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments and look forward to a robust agenda in 2018.

On September 21, the council hosted our annual Women’s Conference in New Orleans. This full day event offered women a venue to learn from diverse and insightful speakers and panelists. In addition, it provided an opportunity for business professionals to network and dialogue about important issues affecting women’s career success. This year’s keynote speaker was veteran political strategist Donna Brazile. For more information about the conference, please read the featured article in this edition of the newsletter.

Looking ahead to 2018, the Louisiana Diversity Council will host initiatives and programs, which address a variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.

We hope you will have the opportunity to participate in some of our upcoming 2018 events and learn more about our organization, as we continue to champion, educate, and raise awareness about diversity issues in Louisiana – one organization and one community at a time.
