The Georgia Diversity Council successfully hosted its 5th Annual LGBT-Allies Diversity Summit on June 9, 2017 at SunTrust’s Offices in Atlanta. Event attendees of this annual event participated in candid discussions of the benefits and challenges that accompany effective inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender team members in the workplace. The theme of the event was Equality, By All For All: Get Involved and Stay Engaged.
This year’s Keynote Speaker was Arnold Evans, Enterprise Ethics Officer for SunTrust. Attendees also heard from Danette Johnson, Director of Organization Development, Diversity and Inclusion for Turner, Nichole Miles-Sullivan, Director of Customer Care Center Operations for Southern Gas Company, and W. Clif Deaton, Corporate Director of Talent Development & Performance for InterContinental Hotels Group.
