The Tri-State Diversity Council hosted its 2017 Diversity Best Practices series in its three local chapters throughout July:

  • Connecticut – July 26th
  • New Jersey – July 27th
  • New York– July 28th

The purpose of this initiative is to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts in the workplace. Some of the primary learning objectives for the meetings are to hear live case studies from two companies that have successfully implemented diversity & inclusion programs locally; discuss the talent cycle and strategies to aid in recruitment, retention, and development of employees; and learn about effective interventions that improve diversity engagement in the workplace and result in business integration and sustainability. In addition, the meetings offered 2.5 continuing education credits for human resources professionals.
