We would like to welcome you to the third edition of the 2017 Illinois Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments and look forward to our upcoming events in the year.
This past quarter, the Illinois Diversity Council hosted our 2017 Legal Women in Leadership Symposium in Chicago on May 24. This half-day event featured insightful panel discussions addressing leadership and diversity and inclusion, featuring the highest caliber of executive female leaders. Be sure to read more about it in this edition of our newsletter.
Looking ahead, the council will feature events covering many different aspects of diversity, highlighted by our 2017 Women in Leadership Symposiums which will be hosted in Bloomington and Chicago on August 30 and 31, respectively. These half-day events will bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, through the discussion of topics relevant to today’s issues, will educate, inspire and encourage women to reflect on their own goals and status. As the Illinois Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.
