Welcome To Our Newsletter Greetings from Sarah King, Chair of the Florida Diversity Council’s Board of Directors.
We would first like to welcome Darden as our newest Platinum Board partner; Wawa as our newest Silver partner; Arc Broward as our newest Bronze South Florida partner; and Axiom Bank as our newest Bronze Orlando partner of the Florida Diversity Council (i.e., FLDC). We look forward to partnering with these organizations to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts throughout the state.
Based on feedback we have received from corporate partners, individual members, and local business and community leaders, we will hold a brand new program in September known as the Generational Diversity Summit. During this event, speakers will share insights on diversity and inclusion best practices that pertain to our multi-generational workforce. Our keynote speaker, panelists, and moderator will represent GameStop, Nielsen, PwC, Tech Data, and Vistra Communications.
For business leaders who were unable to participate in our Inaugural DiversityFIRST Certification Program last year in Tampa, we will hold the program again this year in Orlando at UCF.
