We would like to welcome you to the second edition of the 2017 Michigan Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments and look forward to our upcoming events in the year.
This past quarter, the Michigan Diversity Council hosted our annual Women in Leadership Symposium in March. This half day event brought women executives together to discuss their career accomplishments and obstacles they had to overcome to reach the top of their organization. The council also held its annual Diveristy and Leadership Conference on May 16. This signature, full day event, brought business professionals from across the state together to discuss D&I and Leadership best practices.
As the Michigan Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.
