On March 29, 2017, the Ohio Diversity Council hosted the 2017 Dayton Women in Leadership Symposium at Sinclair Community College. Attendees of the symposium gained knowledge and advice from corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and leadership experience as professionals.
“We were very excited to partner with Sinclair Community College to host our event,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of the National Diversity Council. “Bringing women together to educate and encourage one another is a great place to begin the path to success.”
The half-day event featured multiple business leaders from various organizations discussing topics such as “Transforming the Rules of Engagement”, “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”, and “Leading with Authenticity”.
The symposium began with a welcome from Barbara Jonson, System Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Premier Health. Following a series of speeches presented by five featured panelists, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the discussion topics presented. The Ohio Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success
