On March 8, 2017, the California Diversity Council held the 8th Annual San Diego Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by National University in La Jolla, CA. This half day event brought together female business leaders who shared insight from their personal success and professional leadership experience.

“The Women in Leadership Symposium is an incredible way to encourage success amongst women,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council. “This type of event gives women the perfect platform to share great knowledge and experiences with one another.”

The featured panelists discussed topics regarding leadership and career advancement, such as “Pioneering Pay Equity”, “The Power of No: Defining Your Impact as a Leader”, and “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”. After the panel discussion, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts with the speakers.

The California Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success. Program booklets, photos, and other events can be viewed on the California Post Event Timeline.
