On March 9, 2017, the California Diversity Council held the 8th Annual Los Angeles Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by Nestle. This year’s event featured female business leaders from a variety of organizations, including Nestle and CBS.

“We were very excited to host the Women in Leadership Symposium for the eighth consecutive year in Los Angeles,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of the National Diversity Council. “Each year attendance grows as we bring together powerful business women to share their success stories.”

The symposium began with a welcome from Erica McNeil, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist with Nestle. Afterwards, the featured panelists discussed topics regarding leadership and career advancement, such as “Pioneering Pay Equity”, “The Power of No: Defining Your Impact as a Leader”, and “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”. Following the panel disucussion, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts with the speakers.

The California Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success. Program booklets, photos, and other events can be viewed on the California Event Timeline.
