On March 7, 2017, the California Diversity Council held the San Francisco Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by Gap Corporate Headquarters. This half-day event brought together female business leaders from a variety of industries to share their personal success stories and strategies for career advancement.

“The topics discussed at this symposium get better every year,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council. “Our speakers always deliver forward thinking messages that inspire all of us to continue striving for success.”

The symposium began with a welcome from the moderator, Emily Daniello. Afterwards, the featured panelists discussed topics regarding leadership and career advancement, such as “Leading with Authenticity”, “Switching Your Career: When Life Calls for a U Turn”, and “Transforming the Rules of Engagement”. Following the panel disucussion, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts with the speakers.
