On March 9, 2017, the Ohio Diversity Council held the 3rd Annual Columbus Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by Bob Evans Farms, Inc. Attendees gained knowledge and advice from corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and professional leadership experience.
“It is always a pleasure to host this great event in Columbus,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council. “Many powerful women reside here and by sharing their stories they empower the next generation to succeed.”
The half-day event featured multiple business leaders from various organizations. This year’s symposium focused topics such as “The Power of No: Defining Your Impact as a Leader”, “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”, and “Leading with Authenticity: Strategies for Success with Your Own Leadership Style”.
The symposium began with a welcome from the Director of the Ohio Diversity Council, Daniel Juday. Following a series of speeches presented by six featured panelists, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the discussion topics presented.
The Ohio Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success.
