On February 2, 2017, the Arizona Diversity Council held the 5th Annual Arizona Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by Arizona State University. Attendees gained knowledge and advice from corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and professional leadership experience.
“Our hope is that this symposium helps improve female representation in C-Suites across the nation,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council. “Bringing women together to educate and encourage one another is a great place to begin the path to success.”
The half-day event featured multiple business leaders from various organizations. This year’s symposium focused topics such as “The Power of No: Defining Your Impact as a Leader”, “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”, and “Leading with Authenticity: Strategies for Success with Your Own Leadership Style”.
The symposium began with a welcome from Cheyenne Ross, Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Bridgeway Health Solutions and President of the Arizona Diversity Council. Following a series of speeches presented by six featured panelists, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the discussion topics presented.
The Arizona Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success. Program booklets, photos, and other events can be viewed on the Arizona Event Timeline
