On March 8, 2017, the California Diversity Council held the Silicon Valley Women in Leadership Symposium hosted by Intel Security. The event was one of 37 Women in Leadership Symposiums held across the country during March in honor of Women’s History month.

“The Women in Leadership Symposium is one of our most popular events, thanks to the insightful knowledge and advice presented by our panelists,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council.

The symposium began with a welcome and introduction made by the moderator. Afterwards, the featured panelists discussed topics regarding leadership and career advancement, such as “Pioneering Pay Equity”, “The Power of No: Defining Your Impact as a Leader”, and “Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women”. Following the panel discussion, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts with the speakers.

The California Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success. Program booklets, photos, and other events can be viewed on the California Event Timeline.
