This past quarter, the Pennsylvania Diversity Council put on a plethora of events, highlighted by our Women in Leadership Symposium, which took place in Pittsburgh. This half day event brought women executives together to discuss their career accomplishments and obstacles they had to overcome to reach the top of their organization. Looking ahead, the council will feature events covering many various aspects of diversity, highlighted by the 2017 Diversity and Leadership Conference, which will take place in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. These events will allow organizations to explore the tools and resources necessary to build a diverse workforce and remain competitive on the global stage. As the Pennsylvania Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.
