We would like to welcome you to the second edition of the 2017 Arizona Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments in the first quarter and look forward to our upcoming events in the year.
This past quarter, the Arizona Diversity Council hosted the Women in Leadership Symposium in February. This half day event brought women executives together to discuss their career accomplishments and obstacles they had to overcome to reach the top of their organization. Looking ahead, the council will feature events covering many different aspects of diversity, highlighted by our 2017 Healthcare Diversity Summit, scheduled for November 9. This event will feature the highest caliber of executive leaders in healthcare who will discuss the importance of cultural compentence. As the Arizona Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.
