The Greater San Antonio Advisory Board is proud once again to host this year’s Texas Diversity Council Veterans Summit on May 25, 2017 at The Club at Sonterra, 901 Sonterra Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78258. The theme for this year is Riding the Waves of Change.
The purpose of this half-day Summit is to afford an opportunity for veterans, their spouses, company and organization representatives to come together in an educational forum to hear from fellow veterans and professional leaders as well as learn some of the most-effective best practices regarding veteran hiring, transitioning into a civilian workplace along with professional development opportunities.
The Summit Agenda will include featured keynote speaker, Anthony A. “Tony” Cucolo III Major General, U.S. Army (Ret.), Associate Vice Chancellor for Leadership Development and Veterans Affairs UT Systems.
The day will include two panel discussions: one designed for military and veterans and one designed for employers followed by a summary of the shared best practices relevant to both constituency groups.
