The National Diversity Council is proud to announce its 2017 DiversityFIRSTâ„¢ Certification Program to be held in five locations across the Unites States. The success of past years has prompted the National Diversity Council to expand the program to Ohio and New Jersey in addition to California, Florida, and Texas.

“It makes me proud to see that the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program has been such a great success,? said Dennis Kennedy, founder and chairman of the National Diversity Council. “This year, we plan to build upon this success by expanding to new locations, offering the program to larger groups of business professionals, and continuing to support past graduates as they utilize what they have learned to implement effective D&I programs in their organizations.?

With a highly qualified team of facilitators, the DiversityFIRSTâ„¢ Certification Program blends theory and practice during a 5-day intensive curriculum focusing on the business case for diversity and inclusion, cultural competence, measurement and accountability, inclusive leadership, and best practices. Ongoing professional development follows through the online DiversityFIRSTâ„¢ Graduate Network. Graduates of the program are recognized as a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP).

“The overarching content and ability to discuss best practices was the biggest takeaway for myself,? said one 2016 DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program graduate. “I know that I can assist many more clients in the field of D&I with the learned strategies and best practices.?
