The Tri-State Diversity Council will be hosting its 2017 Tri-State Women in Leadership Symposiums this May. The purpose of this annual event is to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, by discussing topics that pertain to today’s workforce, will educate, inspire, and encourage attendees to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations.
This year’s speakers represent many organizations across the Tri-State area such as CBS, COCC, Diamonds Unleashed by Kara Ross, MetLife, Pitney Bowes, The New York Public Library, and many more. Our 2017 symposiums will take place at the following locations:
- Connecticut May 3, 2017, Pratt & Whitney Stadium
- New York May 5, 2017, Proskauer Rose LLP
- New Jersey May 11, 2017, Wyndham Worldwide
Panelists will speak on topics relating to our symposium theme of “Be Fearless: Influence, Innovate, and Inspire.” The Year of the Woman.” Topics include, “Transforming the Rules of Engagement,” “The Difference “Difference” Makes –Double Minority Leadership,” “The Power of No: Defining your impact as a leader,” “Women on the Web: Leveraging Social Media as a Means of Success,” and “Reviving Your Career: Actionable Steps to Achieve a Professional Renaissance.”
Attendees of this conference will have the chance to listen to our influential panel speak, pose their own questions during our Question & Answer sessions, and also network with the speakers and other attendees. We look forward to seeing you at the symposiums!
