We would like to welcome you to the first edition of the 2017 Arizona Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about the upcoming year and the robust agenda we have planned.
We kicked off 2017 by hosting our most popular event, the Women in Leadership Symposium, in Tempe, Arizona on February 2. This half-day event brought female executives together to share their career success stories and obstacles they overcame to reach the top of their organizations. A big thank you to our speakers, venue and sponsors for helping to make the symposium a rousing success. We will continue to host this great event throughout the nation in March with 37 symposiums in 37 cities. Please follow us on social media and take part in our #MarchMadness campaign to help us raise awareness around this national initative.
As the Arizona Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.
