We would like to welcome you to the fourth edition of the 2016 Texas Diversity Council Newsletter. We are very excited about our past accomplishments in the third quarter and look forward to our upcoming events.

This past quarter, the Texas Diversity Council hosted the 12th Annual Best Practices & DiversityFIRST™ Luncheon in four cities across the state of Texas: Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. This annual luncheon allowed attendees to share best practices in the areas of diversity and inclusion. A number of individuals and corporations were also recognized for their contributions to the improvement of workplace diversity. Be sure to read more about them in this edition of our newsletter.

Looking ahead to December, we will be holding our annual holiday mixers across the state of Texas. These events are the perfect opportunity for you to network with the council leadership team and learn more about our robust agenda for 2017. For more information, please visit texasdiversitycouncil.org.

As the Texas Diversity Council continues to grow, we will add initiatives and programs, which address a broader variety of topics, such as corporate responsibility, women’s leadership, and the importance of education among our youth. We will also offer consulting and mentoring services specifically catered to your organization’s needs, whether it be the formulation of diversity and inclusion efforts, corporate responsibility programs, or any other initiatives you may require.

We hope you will have the opportunity to participate in some of our upcoming 2016 events and learn more about our organization, as we continue to champion, educate, and raise awareness about diversity issues in Texas – one organization and one community at a time.

Sincerely,
