The Florida Diversity Council will be hosting its 2017 Women in Leadership Symposiums during the month of March in celebration of Women’s History Month. The purpose of this annual event is to bring together a diverse mix of successful women leaders who, by discussing topics that pertain to today’s workforce, will educate, inspire, and encourage attendees to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive to advance within their organizations.
Speakers from the 2016 Women in Leadership Symposiums represented many organizations across Florida such as JM Family Enterprises, Lockheed Martin, OneBlood, Orlando Health, Raymond James, Univision, and many more. Our 2017 Symposiums will take place at the following locations:
- Orlando — March 16th, 2016, DoubleTree Hotel - SeaWorld
- Tampa Bay — March 24th, 2016, Bryan Glazer JCC
- South Florida — March 24th, 2016, Marriott Hotel - Miami Airport
Panelists will speak on topics relating to our Symposium theme of “Year of the Woman.” Topics include, Pioneering Pay Equity: Strategies to Bridge the Gap, Women on the Web: Leveraging Social Media as a Means to Success, The Difference “Difference” Makes – Double Minority Leadership, and Lifting Up the Next Generation of Women, among others.
Attendees of this conference will have the chance to listen to our influential panel speak, pose their own questions during our Question & Answer sessions, and also network with the speakers and other attendees. We look forward to seeing you at the Symposiums!
