The Arizona Diversity Council will be hosting the 2016 Arizona Healthcare Diversity Summit on November 10, 2016 at Banner Health Corporation Center. Attendees will gain knowledge and advice from some of the top leaders in the healthcare field. The theme of this year’s summit is “Many Faces Addressing Diversity & Inclusion in Healthcare”.
“This summit is a great place for Arizona’s leading healthcare professionals to create dialogue that fosters improvements to diversity in their field,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder & Chairman of the National Diversity Council. “True progression begins with sharing our experiences and encouraging one another to implement the lessons we have learned along the way.”
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration, breakfast and networking. Following opening remarks, an expert panel of healthcare executives will lead discussions covering the summit’s featured topic “Cultural Competence: Diversity in Action.” Posing questions that challenge traditional approaches will encourage attendees to think critically and discover effective ways to enhance diversity plans within their organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to share additional thoughts during an open question and answer session following the panel discussion.
