On June 15, 2016, the Pennsylvania Diversity Council hosted the 2016 Pittsburgh Women in Leadership Symposium. Attendees of the symposium gained knowledge and advice from corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and leadership experience as professionals.
“It is always a pleasure to welcome such exceptional leaders to our events,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of the National Diversity Council. “Our panelists always present valuable knowledge that we can all use to enhance our careers.”
This half-day event offered panel discussions that covered a variety of topics, such as “Developing Political Savvy: Hard Work and Talent Are Not Enough,” Positioning Yourself for the Next Big Opportunity,” and “Becoming a Person of Influence.” Participants included business professionals, entrepreneurs, non-profit organization representatives, and scholars. Following the discussions, participants had the opportunity to share their thoughts in an open question and answer session.
The Pennsylvania Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success.
