On March 10, 2016, the California Diversity Council hosted the 6th Annual Women in Leadership Symposium at Nestlé USA in Glendale, CA. Attendees of the symposium gained knowledge and advice from a diverse group of corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and leadership experience as professionals.
“This symposium is a great way for a diverse mix of successful women to network and inspire others to reflect on their own goals and status as they strive move higher within their organizations,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council.
The half-day event welcomed seven successful business leaders from various organizations to share their knowledge on topics such as “Finding Your Own Voice” and “Becoming a Person of Influence.” Each panelist’s unique experiences allowed the audience to gain knowledge from many perspectives.
The symposium began with a welcome from Erica McNeill, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist at Nestlé USA. Following a series of various speeches from featured panelists, audience members were allowed the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the discussion topics presented.
The California Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success. The event program booklet, photos, and other post events from 2015 can be viewed at our post-event timeline.
