The National Diversity Council will hold its DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program in New Jersey, California and Florida. The purpose of the program is to prepare participants to create and lead highly successful diversity and inclusion strategies for organizational excellence.
“I am happy to see the growth of the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program in these states,” said Dennis Kennedy, founder and chairman of the National Diversity Council. “Each year, we make improvements to the program and ensure our graduates have the tools and knowledge to positively impact diversity and inclusion in their organizations.”
With a highly-qualified faculty, the DiversityFIRST™ Certification Program blends theory and practice during a 5-day intensive curriculum focusing on the business case for diversity and inclusion, cultural competence, measurement and accountability, inclusive leadership, and best practices. Ongoing professional development follows through the online DiversityFIRST™ Graduate Network. Graduates of the program are recognized as a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP).
The sessions will be held in Newark, NJ, October 9 to 13; Gardena, CA, October 30 to November 3, and Orlando, FL, December 4-8.
“We are pleased to partner with Rutgers Business School, the University of Phoenix, and the University of Central Florida to bring the certification program to these locations,” said Kennedy. “This will be a unique opportunity for professionals to engage in current topics around diversity and inclusion.”
