Join the Georgia Diversity Council on Friday, October 20th, 2017 for the 2017 Georgia Leadership Conference, hosted at the Crown Plaza Atlanta Midtown. The conference will feature multiple speakers presenting on a variety of topics. In addition, business leaders will be recognized with a series of awards highlighting their commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Following registration and networking, guests will attend the Most Powerful and Influential Women Awards Breakfast to be keynoted by Nzinga Shaw, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the Atlanta Hawks. As the event continues, guests will attend workshops hosted by notable speakers discussing diversity, leadership, and power. Topics include Leveraging Mentors, Sponsors and Coaches, Millennials in the Workplace, and Developing Cultural Competent Leaders. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their thoughts during question and answer sessions following each discussion.
In addition to workshops, three awards will be presented at the Georgia Leadership Conference: The Most Powerful and Influential Women Award, the Leadership Excellence Award, and the Young Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion Award. Each award is designed to recognize individuals or organizations that have demonstrated outstanding achievements and sustain a strong commitment to the pursuit of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
